Movement is a child's first language. In my dance classes, I use movement to help encourage a child's natural gross motor abilities as a way of expressing one's self and discovering the world around themselves all while having fun in a creative and supportive environment.
Infant Massage
Mother & Baby
Infant Massage is a traditional parenting practice in India and many other parts of the world, where generations of mothers offer nurturing touch to their babies. It provides a loving connection between parent and baby starting early in life, strengthening this attachment as baby grows.

Hello! My name is Stephanie Ruddell. I am a mother, a teacher, and a dancer living in the Cowichan Valley. I feel very passionately about sharing the importance of movement with children and their families. I use a 'whole body' approach to my teaching that nurtures the brain and senses through movement & play. I also love working with babies and their caregivers which has led me on a path of becoming a certified Infant Massage instructor through IAIM. I look forward to supporting the growth of you and your children.
